Roof Maintenance for Schools Across the UK
David White Roofing Ltd provides specialist roof inspections, roof repairs, flat roof replacement, roof cleaning and gutter maintenance for schools.
We understand that school buildings are different from normal commercial properties. Work often needs to be carried out during school holidays, weekends or outside normal school hours, with careful planning around pupils and staff.
Our operatives are DBS checked, and David White Roofing Ltd is Alcumus SafeContractor approved and fully insured.

This allows us to look after individual schools as well as academy trusts and school groups with buildings in different parts of the UK.
School Roof Inspections
A leaking roof normally starts with a much smaller problem.
Blocked gutters, damaged felt, cracked roof coverings, failed joints or loose tiles can go unnoticed until water starts coming into the building.
We carry out straightforward school roof inspections to find these problems early.
We can inspect:
- Flat roofs
- Pitched tiled and slate roofs
- Gutters and downpipes
- Roof outlets and drainage
- Leadwork
- Flashings
- Roof joints and upstands
- Rooflights
- Parapet walls
- Chimneys
- Valleys
- Fascias and soffits
After the inspection, we can provide photographs of the problems we find and recommendations for any work that is needed.
